What this notice covers
This notice covers the public marketing website at beckondesk.com. It does not cover the BeckonDesk visitor management application itself, which is subject to a separate Data Processing Agreement executed with each contracting customer.
What data we collect on this site
We do not run analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking on this marketing website. No cookies are set by us for tracking purposes. Your hosting provider (Microsoft Azure) may set a session-affinity cookie required for the website to function.
If you send us an email or fill in a contact form, we process the contact details you give us to reply. Data is retained only as long as needed to answer your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, then deleted.
Where your data is held
This website and the BeckonDesk application run on Microsoft Azure in the United States. Enquiry data you send through this site is processed there. Application data handled under a customer contract is covered by the Data Processing Agreement executed with that customer, which sets out the hosting location and the transfer safeguards that apply.
US hosting does not remove UK or EU data protection rights. Those laws apply according to whose personal data is processed and who it is offered to, not where the servers sit. If you are in the UK or EU, your rights under UK GDPR and EU GDPR apply to data we hold about you, and international transfers rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Legal basis
Under UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and applicable US state privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA, TDPSA, VCDPA and equivalents): legitimate interest for responding to enquiries you initiate, and contract necessity for any subsequent commercial arrangement. Where consent is required, it is captured explicitly at the point of collection.
Global Privacy Control
We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. Because we run no advertising trackers on this site, there is no data available for such use.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes, the updated version replaces this page and the “Last updated” date at the top changes.
